The fantasy football schedule is into Week 10 and some free agents and sleeper options to pick up going forward include Bobby Rainey, Tre Mason, Lamar Miller, Ben Roethlisberger, Charles Sims, Terrance West, Odell Beckham, Denard Robinson, Mychal Rivera, Mike Evans, Markus Wheaton, Justin Forsett, Martavis Bryant and John Brown, as those players could be very valuable as the playoffs get closer.
Rainey and Sims have the chance to be major starters the rest of the way, as Doug Martin has been injured and when he has played, he has not been effective. Tre Mason has taken over as the starting back for the Rams over Zac Stacy, while Denard Robinson has done the same over Toby Gerhart. Lamar Miller got as bit banged up this week, but the injury is not considered serious and he remains the top starter in Miami over Daniel Thomas with Knowshon Moreno out.
Mike Evans had two touchdown catches this weekend and he has emerged as the best option in Tampa over Vincent Jackson. Matt Asiata had three touchdowns for the Vikings and he is worth a flier for teams in need of an RB, even with Jerick McKinnon getting the bulk of the carries. John Brown has been a sleeper for the Cardinals and they are now 7-1 on the season, while the Steelers have been putting up crazy numbers as of late. Roethlisberger has had six touchdowns in each of the past two weeks and players like Martavis Bryant and Markus Wheaton could continue cashing in for fantasy owners.
Tre Mason is a strong pickup, as he has been working as the lead back for the Rams over the past few weeks, including on Sunday. Mason has overtaken Zac Stacy and now he looks to be the starter after going for 65 yards on 19 carries against the Niners. Mason went for 18 carries for 85 yards last Sunday against the Seahawks and he was the best rusher again on Sunday here in Week 9. Mason has now emerged and he is a solid pickup.
Mychal Rivera is an option to snag for any owners in need of a tight end, as he has been one of the best players for the Raiders this season. Derek Carr and Rivera have linked up in recent weeks and Rivera had two touchdowns in the game on Sunday and he was targeted 11 times to lead the team on Sunday. Rivera had just 38 yards, but he caught eight passes and two of those went for TDs. Denard Robinson is another young back to keep an eye on, as he has been putting up some strong numbers the past few weeks.
Robinson comes in after putting up back to back 100 yard games and he finished Sunday with 94 yards while averaging over five yards per carry for the Jaguars. Terrance West made it into the end zone again and he is worth a look for teams with Shane Vereen or Branden Oliver, as they are on byes this week. Sims, Rainey and West are all solid options for teams with Arian Foster as well, as he is banged up and has a bye week. Mike Evans is a strong pickup at WR after the two touchdowns he had on Sunday for the Bucks.
