The Notre Dame Fighting Irish and Arizona State Sun Devils are playing live on the ESPN/ABC college football schedule on Saturday and the game is on at 3:30 pm ET from Sun Devil Stadium and it will be streaming online at WatchESPN as ND takes on ASU in a matchup of top 10 teams and this could be a season decider for both teams.
Notre Dame comes into the game after a win against Navy and they will next play against Northwestern and that will be at Notre Dame Stadium next week. The Irish come into the game with a 7-1 record and they are 10th in the nation in the rankings, just behind ASU and that makes this a huge game for both teams. Arizona State is 7-1 and they are 5-1 in the Pac-12 and they have been one of the best offensive teams in the nation.
Everett Golson has played well for the Irish this season and he comes in after passing for 315 yards in the win against Navy. The team is ranked in the top 30 in passing yards per game, points per game and points allowed per game and they come in after bouncing back from a loss against Florida State a couple weeks ago. The team opened the year 6-0 before the Seminoles won over the Irish on a bad call and now the team is finishing up three straight road games.
The Irish come in with Northwestern, Louisville and USC as the final episodes of the season and ASU comes in after a win over Utah. The team is first in the Pac-12 South division and they next will play against Oregon State on the road and they are on a four game winning streak after winning over three ranked teams in four weeks. Arizona State won in Overtime against Utah and they have Notre Dame, Oregon State, Washington State and Arizona next over the final four games of the season.
