The Golden State Warriors and Miami Heat are playing live on the NBA schedule on Tuesday and the matchup is on NBATV starting up at 7:30 pm ET and comes from AmericanAirlines Arena and has GS coming in after a win and they are one of the best teams in the league as Dwyane Wade, Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Chris Bosh face off.
The Warriors have started the season 10-2 and they have been very impressive under new head coach Steve Kerr, who has the team playing well on offense and defense. Many wondered whether Kerr could keep up the progress that Mark Jackson made last season and so far he has proved that he could do it. The team is ranked 10th in points allowed and third in points per game on offense with over 106 points per game.
The team comes into the game against Miami ranked fifth in rebounds per game and first in assists per game and they will next play against the Magic after the win against the Thunder. The win against OKC came without Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook in the lineup for the Thunder and now the Warriors face off against the defending east champions. The Warriors are one of the sexy picks this season in the west and they are one of the favorites along with the Spurs and the Clippers.
Miami comes into the game after a win against the Charlotte Hornets by one and they now have the Warriors and will play on the road next on Sunday against the NY Knicks. Luol Deng has been playing well for the team and now they are second in the southwest division and Deng comes in after scoring 26 points in the win. Mario Chalmers added 10 assists, while Bosh had 10 rebounds in the game. The team is ranked ninth in points allowed and 20th in scoring and they have been up and down a bit with LeBron leaving for Cleveland.
The Warriors have a decent schedule coming up and they have the next four games on the road leading into the end of the month. The team plays the Miami Heat, Orlando Magic, Charlotte Hornet and Detroit Pistons and then they will return home to play the Magic and the Pelicans. The team then plays five of six on the road and those will be against the Bulls, Wolves, Dallas Mavericks, Pelicans and Grizzlies, while the Rockets is the lone home game.
Miami and Golden State likely will be playoff teams this season and both have the chance to make a run in the postseason after the Heat made the finals last year and the Warriors lost a tough series in the west.
