Feb 01, 2015 08:46 PM EST

The Super Bowl 2015 game has the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots in a close game and coming out of halftime things were tied before the Seahawks took the lead on a field goal and heading into the fourth quarter Chris Matthews could be the early MVP candidate along with Tom Brady and Russell Wilson after his great start.

Matthews took the early spotlight in the game, as he had three receptions for 100 yards and a touchdown heading into the middle part of the third quarter. Matthews had the touchdown at the end of the first half that could be the main decider in this game and he had another great catch on the drive that gave the team the lead. Matthews was working at a Foot Locker when he was called by the Seahawks to try out and now he could be the hero of the Super Bowl.

Tom Brady had two touchdowns in the first half of the game, including one to Rob Gronkowski following a long drive. Gronk had a mismatch with KJ Wright and Brady took advantage and that gave the team the lead at the time. The Patriots and Seahawks scored 28 points in the second quarter and amazingly enough, according to ESPN.com, the Pats with Brady and Bill Belichick have never scored points in the first half of their Super Bowls.

The game continues, we shall see who wins.
