Andre Villas-Boas will know Tottenham will need to keep their momentum going when they travel to Norwich City in the League Cup Wednesday.
Spurs were a little lucky to come away with all three points after Southampton failed to find the equalizer in their English Premier League game Sunday, and the London side can expect another tough test from the Canaries.
The last time a team from North London visited Carrow Road they went away empty-handed with Spurs' bitter rivals Arsenal failing to score in a 1-0 loss.
"It's another hard game, they had a fantastic result against Arsenal," Spurs striker Jermain Defoe said. "I'm sure Chrissie was delighted with that performance and to beat Arsenal, not many teams do that.
"I can imagine they are buzzing after a win like that. It's another away game for us, another tough game and another must-win game. We're looking forward to it."
Villas-Boas is expected to rest some of his first-team players, with French international goalkeeper Hugo Lloris expected to start in goal, replacing Brad Friedel, while the likes of Andros Townsend, Jake Livermore, Michael Dawson and Kyle Naughton is expected to get a run out from the start.
Emmanuel Adebayor remains a doubt due to a stomach bug, while Moussa Dembele is yet to shake off a niggling hip injury.
"They're a team that works hard for 90 minutes and they're going to give us a hard time, so we'll have to be fully prepared," Gareth Bale said. "We'll have to sit down and have a look what their weaknesses are. Hopefully we can exploit them and come away with a good result."
Norwich manager Chris Hughton will also ring in the changes, with Russell Martin ruled out due. Jacob Butterfield is expected to feature from the start, with Steve Morison expected to start up front.
Norwich were unlucky not to come away with all three points in the Premier League game earlier this season at White Hart Lane, and Hughton will hope for a similar performance at home.
"Russell is the only one missing," Hughton told the club's official website. "He came off at halftime against Aston Villa with a back problem. He is still pretty sore at the moment so he will miss the game, but apart from that everybody else is fit and available.
"We don't know what side Spurs will put out, but they are on the back of a good result at Southampton and results are going very well. But ourselves, we've got a lot of consistency in the team and quality too.
"We know where we went wrong in poorer performances. We leaked goals in those games and that doesn't do us any favours regarding the goal difference, but we were always confident because of some of the positive performances that we have had.
"We've got real competition for starting places at the moment, and it's experienced competition.
"Jacob Butterfield will probably be the youngest lad that's involved tomorrow. So we've got experienced competition and we will use that to try and progress.
"We know that there aren't many teams that are going to win a cup this season, so if you have an opportunity to progress, it's a big plus for the club."
Expected lineups: Norwich: Rudd, Tierney, Bassong, Turner, Butterfield, Howson, Tetley, Snodgrass, Bennett, Jackson, Morison.
Tottenham: Lloris, Naughton, Caulker, Dawson, Walker, Huddlestone, Livermore, Falque, Townsend, Sigurdsson, Defoe.
Prediction: 2-0 to Spurs
