Nov 05, 2012 11:14 PM EST

The Minnesota Timberwolves came back to defeat the Brooklyn Nets on Monday winning 107-96.

Their defense stepped it up and their offense ran away with it in the final quarter as they held the Nets to just 10 points in 12 minutes.

All in all, the Timberwolves relied on guys like Alexey Shved and Chase Budingers to get them back from a 22-point deficit.

Fans at home might have changed the channel and found the lead blown as the Nets could not get anything to fall.

The Timberwolves finally took the lead with just over 2:30 left to play in the game on a basket by Shved.

The T'Wolves then wrapped up the game scoring the final 11 points of the game as the Nets tied the game at 96.

The Nets lose a tough one. They took a fifteen point lead to the third quarter after holding the Timberwolves to 47 points in the first 24 minutes of action. The Nets put up 62.

However, after scoring 31 points in each of the first two quarters, the Nets only mustered 34 combined points in the second half.

Next up, the Nets will now try to prepare to face the championship Miami Heat on Wednesday. For the Timberwolves, they host the Orlando Magic also on Wednesday.
