Arsenal will look to banish the demons of the 2-0 defeat to Swansea at the Emirates earlier in the English Premier League, when they travel to the Liberty Stadium for the third round tie of the FA Cup.
Cup games are always difficult to predict, with any team capable of beating the other on a given day. The last couple of times that Arsenal have played Swansea they have been beaten at their own passing game.
That cannot have gone down too well with Arsene Wenger, and as much as the manager might try to deny, this will be personal for the Gunners.
"They had a very good game (at the Emirates)," Wenger said. "We have to give them a different response on Sunday."
Arsenal, rightfully, copped a lot of criticism following that defeat, which saw two late goals from Michu. The Gunners have found it hard this season to negotiate teams that press high up the pitch and don't give the midfielders enough time on the ball.
Swansea will definitely adapt that strategy, and they are one of the best teams in the league at pressing and trying to win back possession.
Arsenal need to negate that problem, by finding that quick passing range which has been so lacking this season, but has been the trademark of Wenger's teams in the past.
The quicker the ball is moved, the better against teams like Swansea. They are fragile at the back, if you put enough pressure on them, so it is all about getting past the midfield at pace, and finding the right final product - easier said than done of course, particularly against an accomplished side like Michael Laudrup's.
The FA Cup is probably Arsenal's most realistic trophy this season, and the players will be raring to negotiate the first hurdle. Arsenal have been buoyed by the fact that they have a fully fit squad with Abou Diaby and Andre Santos returning to training, although neither will be considered for the game Sunday.
"I think it is an important moment of the season for us, to strengthen the confidence of the team," Wenger added.
"We feel we are on a good run but how far can we go? To win in the FA Cup will strengthen us.
"It bothers me (not to win trophies), of course it bothers me because I'm not here to watch other people win trophies.
"For us it's important to show continuity and consistency and the FA Cup is part of that. To get people to believe more in the team it's important that we win on Sunday."
There is a feeling within the squad and the supporters, one trophy, any trophy, will open the floodgates for Arsenal towards winning plenty more.
The FA Cup provides the Gunners that perfect opportunity, starting with the difficult test at the Liberty Stadium.
Expected lineups: Swansea: Vorm; Rangel, Williams, Chico, Davies; Ki, Britton; Routledge, De Guzman, Hernandez; Michu.
