Well, Tim Tebow is the guy nobody wants in the NFL. When the Jacksonville Jaguars say no, you already know something is wrong. The organization was very clear on their thoughts of adding Tebow to the mix even after having a poor 2012 season where the finished 2-14.
Tebow, who formed part of the New York Jets, has been embarrassed enough. Now he gets rejected by one of the worst teams in the league? That must be tough to take.
Tebow has been the most talked about backup quarterback ever, if that's what you want to call him.
He's really not a quarterback, he's more of a wild cat specialist, but you can't even give him that title. The Jets made a fool of him using him for "specific plays". It was the same thing over and over again. The fans knew what was coming, the opposing team knew what was coming, but everybody held their breaths wondering if the next play was going to be the one to get Tebow more time on the field behind center.
What it got him was a look at Greg McElroy from the bench as the Jets sat Mark Sanchez down and never considered Tebow a quality starter.
First, the Denver Broncos traded him after Tebow took them to the postseason and helped them win a game. Then the Jets practically dump him on their bench. Now the Jaguars say they want no business in acquiring him. 2012 and 2013 have been a nightmare for the former Florida Gator.
Jacksonville's general manager, David Caldwell said it straight up, "I can't imagine a scenario in which he'll be a Jacksonville Jaguar - even if he's released."
The Jaguars have always been a team many have looked at for Tebow since he played in Florida and was extremely popular while starting there. However, the Jaguars never made a move for him in the 2010 draft.
They have a pretty young quarterback, second youngest to be exact, in Blaine Gabbert. who is 23 and already has two years in the league. They have one of the best running backs in the league and Justin Blackmon, their 2012 leading receiver, should be coming of age.
The Jags are a talented team and the organization simply sees no space for Tebow.
Suddenly, despite being one of the most beloved figures around the world, Tebow has gone from Heisman Trophy winner and two-time BCS National Champion to a possible unemployed quarterback.
