Lil Wayne decided to change his look and instead of adding another tattoo to his face, he decided to get rid of the dreadlocks, but did the rapper really cut of his hair or is it just the angle of the photo?
He's seen here with former Outkast member Big Boy and Vibe Magazine posted the pic on their Instagram account.
Now to me, don't know if half or maybe 75 percent of Lil Wayne's followers ever heard of this legend, Weezy looks like Ol' Dirty Bastard aka ODB.
History Lesson
Young folks, ever heard of the Wu-Tang Clan? One of the hardest hitting rap groups in the history of the game came together in the mid'90's to take hip hop by storm.
They were a group of nine MC's from Staten Island and the New York City based group was dynamic featuring guys like Method Man, Red Man and Raekwon. This group promoted the artists' individual work while allowing members to sign to other labels.
Long story short, ODB was a successful member of The Clan.
Here's a photo of ODB in the cover of the Wu-Tang album "Return to the 36 Chambers."
Does he not share a close to resemblance to Lil Wayne in that photo? ODB's hair is a little more creative, but Lil Wayne has some baby locks remaining that resemble ODB's.
Ol' Dirty Bastard passed away in 2004 after collapsing in a studio.
Lil Wayne is alive and well. He continues to make record hits and despite spending some time encarcerated, Weezy manages to make hits and produce mixtapes that keeps most fans pleased.
