PGA Tour Leaderboard: WGC-Cadillac Championship Dustin Johnson Leads Rory McIlroy, Tiger Woods Doral Golf Tournament

The PGA Tour leaderboard from the WGC-Cadillac Championship has Dustin Johnson in the lead over Rory McIlroy, Tiger Woods and Zach Johnson at the Doral golf tournament and the second round is finishing up on Friday after round 1 was delayed and now things head into the weekend.

Tiger Woods struggled for the second day in a row and this came after the first round was delayed and moved to early Friday and that did not help woods either. Woods was over 70 on both days and this continued his struggles in the early part of the season, as he finished way down on the leaderboard at both the Farmers Insurance Open and in Dubai and then last week he was forced to pull out of the Honda Classic with a back injury and now he is looking to get things back on track heading into the weekend.

The wind was a mess for a number of players and Johnson, after blasting a 69 on the first day, he was two under through 15 and was looking strong, while Matt Kuchar was keeping pace and some other names near the top of the leaderboard include Bubba Watson, Zach Johnson and Rory McIlroy and now the Northern Irish star could be within striking distance. Woods was only able to finish 10 holes on the first day and now he is looking to get sharper on Saturday and that will give him the chance to finally put in a nice round after the first round and his run this season has been tough and coming up on the Masters he may need to add another tournament to the schedule.

McIlroy comes in after putting up a 70 on the first round and coming through 15 holes he was one over and just a few shots back of the leaders and he was in the top 10. McIlroy was a bit better than Woods and he is looking to rebound after his rough year last season and now Woods is back in the position he was, as McIlroy had to walk off the Honda Classic last year and now Woods had to do it this year. Woods nearly missed Doral with a back injury and that could have an effect on his play here, while the wind did no real favors either.

Woods has been struggling hard all year and this comes after he did the exact opposite last season and that saw him win three times on tour before the Masters and now he is just trying to get a good round in. Last year Woods won the Farmers Insurance Open, WGC and Arnold Palmer Invitational last season before the Masters and this year he has been roughing it up on the course and he is in line to lose his number one ranking if he finishes below sixth and Adam Scott wins. Woods finished with a one over on the day and he is five up overall and now he comes in with a 76 and a 73 in his first two rounds at the WGC.
