Bulls-Knicks Rematch: Derrick Rose Uncertain

The Chicago Bulls and New York Knicks will play on Tuesday night, following a heated battle on Sunday afternoon that saw Bulls star point guard Derrick Rose injure his right ankle.

Rose has been receiving treatment and wore a boot to support the ankle.  He will be a game-time decision at the rematch in Chicago.

On Sunday, the Bulls lost a close game in New York 100-99, where Knicks star Carmelo Anthony scored 43 points.

The Bulls and Knicks may see each other in the playoffs.  Currently the Bulls hold the one seed in the Eastern Conference, while the Knicks hold the seven seed. However, the Knicks have the same record as the Philadelphia 76ers who are currently slotted in the eight seed.

New York is battling for a playoff spot with the Milwaukee Bucks close behind, only one and a half games back of the Knicks and 76ers.  Only two the three teams will make the final two playoff spots.

The Knicks have seen their own share of injuries including stars Amare Stoudemire and Jeremy Lin.

It remains to be seen if Rose will start for the Bulls, in what may be an exciting rematch of Sunday's close game.
