The Rams were very successful against the 49ers last season but this season may not be the same outcome.
Last season's success saw the Rams tying the 49ers 24-24 after going overtime in their Nov. 11, 2012 encounter, and later beating the 49ers 16-13 in overtime in the Dec. 2, 2012 rematch.
The Rams will look to overcome last week's struggles against the Dallas Cowboys, where they only gained 18 total yards of offense in the first half ending the game with 232 total yards and going 0-for-12 in the third down situations.
"All you have to do is put on a series here or a series there of our matchup last year, either one of the two games against the 49ers, and we'll have their attention," said St. Louis head coach Jeff Fisher.
Quarterback Sam Bradford was sacked six times after not being taken down once in four straight games dating to last season.
Bradford has completed 71.1 percent of his passes while going 2-0 at home versus San Francisco, and he's thrown four TDs without an interception in four career games against the 49ers.
