The New York Giants will lock up against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday as they search for their first victory of the 2012-2013 campaign. With that being said, the Giants are the favorite to win this game against the Bucs on Sunday, which will begin at 1 p.m. ET.
The Giants will defeat the Bucs is because Josh Freeman is no Tony Romo. For all the adversity Romo has faced over his career as not being a finisher, he is still one of the Top 10 quarterbacks in the NFL. The same thing cannot be said about Freeman.
The Bucs hoped Freeman's sophomore 26 touchdown, five interception season would be a constant, but that was not the case in 2011 as Freeman only threw for 16 touchdowns while throwing 22 interceptions.
The Giants also have the advantage with the defensive line, although they disappeared in the second half of their game against the Cowboys. Give credit to Romo for finding the open players as the Giants' secondary crumbled again and again.
Eli Manning will find Victor Cruz and Hakeem Nicks open on Sunday as the Bucs defense gave up 291 yards against the Carolina Panthers, look for the Giants to exploit this weakness once again. Cruz will come out determined to make up for last week's mistakes as he admitted to not being focused during the Giants' meeting against the Cowboys.
Ahmad Bradshaw will have a better rushing game and the Giants will go on to unleash their Week 1 frustrations on the Bucs finishing the second game of the season with a 28-14 victory over the Bucs.
