Fantasy Football Sleeper Picks: Davante Adams, Melvin Gordon, Charles Sims, TJ Yeldon, Devonta Freeman, Tevin Coleman, Devin Funchess Draft Options

The NFL fantasy football season is right around the corner and some sleeper draft options to take a look at include Davante Adams, Melvin Gordon, Charles Sims, TJ Yeldon, Devonta Freeman, Tevin Coleman, Devin Funchess, Doug Martin, Carlos Hyde, Nelson Agholor, Ryan Mathews, Shane Vereen, Ameer Abdullah and Doug Baldwin.

The Packers are in a tough spot after losing Jordy Nelson, but Davante Adams could be a great sleeper for fantasy owners. Adams was already a solid sleeper option for owners, but now he is in an even better position to perform, as he should be stepping in for Nelson. Some rookie running backs have the chance to be solid, including Melvin Gordon, TJ Yeldon and Todd Gurley if he is healthy. Ameer Abdullah is also a player worth taking a risk on.

Charles Sims and Doug Martin are good options to handcuff, as the Buccaneers will be rushing the ball even with Jameis Winston there. Martin has looked good in the preseason and over the summer, while Sims showed a lot last season and could get more chances to get on the field. Sims is a solid player out of the backfield catching the ball and that could get him to split time with Martin. Devonta Freeman and Tevin Coleman are also another handcuff group to check out, as the Falcons are looking to have a better rushing attack.

Davin Funchess and Adams are in similar positions, as their teams lost their main wideouts for the season. The Panthers have Kelvin Benjamin out for the season and that could make Funchess a worthy pick for Cam Newton. Adams and Funchess are two names to keep an eye on, as they can be sleepers for fantasy owners. The Panthers offense does not have too much depth and that can also help Funchess put up some numbers.

Yeldon is a player to watch, as the Jaguars have some depth at running back, but he has been the most impressive player of the group this summer. Yeldon comes out of Alabama with a great career behind him and he could be a nice fit for fantasy owners. Coleman is a rookie to watch, as Freeman and Coleman are expected to split carries for the Falcons. Amari Cooper is coming in as a number one option and he is not really a sleeper since everyone thinks he will be great, but he is a rookie and still has to prove himself.

Tyler Lockett and Ty Montgomery are two rookies who also could step up and be sleeper options for owners. Lockett has been explosive in the preseason and has shown his skills on special teams, while Montgomery could step up with Nelson out.
