Both the Houston Texans and Buffalo Bills are coming off their perspective bye weeks as both are set for a Sunday clash at 1:00 p.m. ET.
The 3-4 Bills have the worst rush defense in the NFL, while the 6-1 Texans have the sixth best rushing attack with Arian Foster leading the way.
Foster leads the league with nine touchdowns, but he's also carrying the ball an average of 24 times per game. He has the most rushing attempts this season by a significant margin, so the Bye Week may have been most beneficial to the All-Pro back.
The Bills rank a little better against the pass, but that's probably just because it's so easy to run against them. They rank 22nd in passing yards allowed per game, 25th in passing touchdowns allowed, 24th in opposing quarterbacks QB rating, and 20th in pass plays over 20 yards allowed.
Meanwhile, the Texans recorded four sacks, two interceptions, one safety, and a touchdown in their domination of Baltimore.
However, most of the headlines pregame will be focused on the return of defensive end Mario Williams, who left Houston this offseason and signed a massive free agent deal with the Bills.
The deal made Williams the highest paid defensive player in the league, but he's been nursing a wrist injury recently. He improved with the Bye Week, and is expected to play against his former team.
