The Eagles are currently sitting at pick number 13 as we get closer to the NFL draft. It appears that the Eagles have significant interest in quarterback Carson Wentz.
Philadelphia coaches met with the young prospect and fell in love with him seemingly as much as most of the football world. Wentz went from a possible 2nd to 3rd round pick to a 1st round franchise quarterback in a matter of weeks. The Eagles spending their first round pick on a quarterback will likely be determined by the time free agency arrives.
If the Eagles feel as if Sam Bradford is too expensive or would just like to start fresh, Wentz could be the option they are looking for. The Eagles also have a ton of tradeable players as we learned last season so it will be interesting to see if the Eagles brass decides to make more key trades in offseason.
The Eagles need to hit on most of their draft picks in order to rebuild this team and erase Chip Kelly's fingerprints from the roster. The Eagles traded away some of their best players for very little in return so the Eagles will need to find some offensive playmakers in the 2016 NFL Draft.
