Chelsea vs Brentford: Preview, Team News, Injuries, Predictions and Expected Lineups of FA Cup Fourth Round Replay

Act Two of the Chelsea vs Brentford drama takes center stage when the two West London sides clash in the fourth round replay of the F.A. Cup.

The other teams remaining in the competition will vie for a place in the quarterfinals at the weekend, while Chelsea fight for the right to compete in the fifth round.

The Blues were extremely lucky to come away with a 2-2 draw at Griffin Park, and had a nice Fernando Torres strike to thank.

Chelsea were completely outplayed by the League One side in the first half of that game, before they finally got a grip on themselves to avoid an embarrassing defeat of an already traumatic season.

The defending champions will have home comforts of Stamford Bridge to help them this time around, although that will be of scant use if the 11 players don't show up against a Brentford side with nothing to lose.

"Brentford will try to be compact and counter-attack, and we are favorites and will try to do a professional job," Benitez said.

"It will be different from Thursday (in the Europa League game against Sparta Prague), where we played away against a team that liked to run between and behind defenders. Against Brentford we have to sustain attacks and get on top of them."

Chelsea will have several players available for the F.A. Cup clash with Benitez promising to put out a strong lineup.

Victor Moses and John Obi Mikel are ready for action after their winning exploits for Nigeria in the Africa Cup of Nations, while David Luiz and Demba Ba return after being unavailable for the Europa League clash against Sparta Prague.

John Terry is expected to return to the starting lineup, after remaining on the bench against Sparta Prague.

"I am really pleased because we have John Mikel Obi and Victor Moses coming back from South Africa, and they are happy and training well,' Benitez reported. 'We have another session so that won't be a problem and they will be available for Brentford.

"Obviously Demba Ba and David Luiz were not available for the Europa League, but they are fine and it's good news. Apart from Oriol Romeu everyone is fine and available.

"We will choose a strong team because we want to progress. Now players can compete for positions and it's good for us. To improve the competition between good players is good for the team."

A convincing win Sunday can be the catalyst to the Blues salvaging the rest of the season and finding the form that took them to the top of the English Premier League at the beginning of the season; but one thing is for sure, Brentford will not make it easy.

Expected lineups: Chelsea: Cech; Azpilicueta, Luiz, Terry, Bertrand; Mikel, Ramires; Moses, Mata, Oscar; Ba.

Brentford: Moore; Craig, Dean, Logan, Hodson; Forshaw, Douglas, Diagouraga, Donaldson, Trotta; Forrester.

Prediction: 3-1 to Chelsea
