Miami Dolphins Rumors: Stadium Bill Could Die Out In State Legislature As Dan Marino Helps Out, Team Works With Dion Jordan To Find Position In New Defense

The Miami Dolphins made one of the biggest splashes in the draft by trading up for Oregon star Dion Jordan and now the team will try to figure out how to get him in an effective position on defense just as the bill for the possibility of renovations to Sun Life stadium is being debated in the state legislature.

According to Pro Football Talk, the Miami Herald reports that the bill for work on the stadium is dependent on an upcoming public vote, but there is a chance that the vote may not happen. The report says that the bill is in limbo since the Florida Legislature is coming to its last day of its session and the law would allow hotel tax money to be used for the work. The bill went from the senate to the House, but so far there has been no movement, even with help from Dan Marino.

Some have called the bill dead and if it doesn't get out of the House and senate, the public vote will not go on. The team is hoping to get another Super Bowl and the renovations are part of that. The next meeting is on May 21 between the owners and the next Super Bowl location will be on the agenda.

The Dolphins are also preparing for rookie minicamp and star Dion Jordan is looking for ways to contribute, as the team figure out how to use him as a linebacker or a defensive end in their scheme.
