Manchester United Transfer News: Hernandez Has No Plans of Leaving in the Summer; Berg a Big Fan of Zaha

Javier Hernandez has no plans of leaving Manchester United in the summer, according to his agent.

The Mexican international, so prolific in front of goal whenever given an opportunity, has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford, with the striker falling further down the pecking order following the arrival of Robin Van Persie last summer.

Hernandez made fewer Premier League appearances than Danny Welbeck, Wayne Rooney and Van Persie for United last season, but still managed 10 goals in 22 games, while Welbeck only had one goal.

There is little doubt that Hernandez will score goals for any side, which has led to him being linked with several clubs around Europe including Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid.

However, the 25-year-old has always expressed his happiness at United, and his representative Eduardo Hernandez concurs with his client.

"He is very happy at Manchester United," he said. "Javier has been there three years and has won the league twice. Not many can say they have achieved that."

Meanwhile, former Manchester United defender Henning Berg has praised the talents of Wilfried Zaha having seen him in person during his managerial stint with Blackburn in the Championship last season.

Zaha will feature for United next season after helping Crystal Palace gain promotion to the Premier League.

"We played against Palace in my first game with Blackburn," Berg told the club's official website. "He is a very good, talented player.

"He is not the finished article but he has got great potential. He's quick, with good dribbling skills, a good attitude and did particularly well in the playoff semifinal with Brighton when he scored two goals.

"What he needs to keep developing is his goalscoring ability and assists in front of goal but he's a fantastically exciting player, especially if he can be even more effective in terms of his passing and goals.

"There is no doubt he's got potential and you can see why he is going to United at that early age. However, there is going to be competition for places and he is going to have to handle coming to a big club like United and not playing every game every week.

"So it will be about being patient and looking to develop his game, while taking his chances when he gets them. That is maybe the biggest difference in playing at United compared to other clubs -- there is more competition for places and you must be patient."
