The New Orleans Saints are expected to be one of the most improved teams in the NFL after getting back head coach Sean Payton after the bounty scandal and Drew Breees is ready for a big season and he hopes the start of it will include wideout Steve Breaston.
According to ESPN.com, the team signed Steve Breaston in training camp as they are dealing with an injury to Steve Breaston, who has yet to practice in training camp. The team is also dealing with an injury to Joe Morgan, who appears to be one of the top options for the third wideout on the depth chart. ESPN reported that Morgan dealt with an injury over the weekend and that spurred the team to sign Breaston.
Breaston may only be around for training camp if the other two receivers get healthy and he could be a solid deep option like he was with Arizona and Kansas City. The 29-year-old has dealt with injuries over the past couple years and he only made seven catches last season.
