The qualifying matches feature some ranked players. One key player in the Men's Singles qualifying matches is No. 18, American Bobby Reynolds. He is attempting to participate in his seventh U.S. Open. The 31-year-old has not been successful in grand slams throughout his nine-year career. His best performance came at 2008 Wimbledon where he advanced to the third round of the tournament. This match will wrap up the action on Court 17.
First up on Court 17 at 1 p.m. ET will be Eva Birnerova (11) of the Czech Republic vs. Taylor Townsend of the USA. Townsend is practically a baby.
