The Chicago Bears stopped a two game losing streak last Thursday with a win over the New York Giants and now they will play another NFC East team in the Washington Redskins, travelling to FedEx Field for a road game on Sunday at 1:00 pm in a game that will be televised on FOX.

The Bears started off the season 3-0 before losing their next two games to the Detroit Lions and the New Orleans Saints and now they will face off against the 1-4 Washington Redskins, who really need to turn things around to get back in the NFC East division race. Robert Griffin III is starting to look a bit more like the quarterback he was last season before his knee injury, while Jay Cutler has been off to his best start in a couple years and one of the main reasons for that is how new head coach Marc Trestman has reshaped the offensive line and put in a different offensive scheme, which has also helped Matt Forte to be very productive this season as well.

Forte already has over 440 yards this season with three touchdowns and he has been a factor in the passing game for Cutler in the offense and that has helped open things up for Alshon Jeffery and Brandon Marshall on the outside. The Washington defense has been terrible against the pass this season and that could mean some big numbers for the receivers and for Cutler on Sunday despite playing on the road. The Washington defense has been blasted this season by running backs, including giving up 184-yards to LeSean McCoy on the Eagles and while they have played better since that game, Forte could have a solid afternoon for the Bears. Forte has been a great all around player this season, gaining nearly 700 yards in total offense and he could have a field day against the struggling Redskins D.

The Bears could be down a couple players on Sunday, as Martellus Bennett and Charles Tillman are listed as questionable and that could be tough if either player has to sit. Tillman was out last week, but Trestman said he is expected to play, while Bennett has played with injuries all year and likely will suit up after having a long week off after playing last Thursday night. The defense has played up and down this season and now that DJ Williams is out, the linebackers will need to step up and they currently are allowing just over 100 yards per game. The offense is averaging over 300 yards this season and after playing the Washington Redskins the team will have a bye in Week 8.

The Bears play against the Packers on Monday night football out of the bye week and then play against the Lions and the Ravens before playing on the road against the Rams and then the Vikings in another division game. The Bears will have their second ESPN game on MNF in six weeks while hosting the Cowboys and then the team finishes with the Browns, Eagles and then the Packers at home. The Chicago Bears visit the Washington Redskins on Sunday in Week 7 at 1:00 pm in a game that will air on Fox from FedEx Field.
