Nov 23, 2013 03:16 PM EST

The Oregon Ducks suffered a disappointing loss to Stanford and now they are hoping one of the teams ahead of them loses and they will try to keep winning, as they travel to Arizona Stadium on Saturday to play the Arizona Wildcats starting up on TV on ABC at 3:30 pm and the game will also be streaming live online for the afternoon matchup.

Marcus Mariota has been playing great this season and after losing to Stanford he had nearly 300 yards passing against the Utah Utes and now he faces off against a decent team in Arizona. The Ducks have been one of the best offensive teams in the nation this season and they have the chance to put up some points on Saturday and as long as the team keeps winning, they have a chance to move up in the standings if someone in the top four loses and that easily could happen with the championship games still left to be played. Oregon is ranked fifth and they will next play the Oregon State Beavers at home in a state rivalry matchup and that should be one of the most anticipated games in the conference this season. Mariota has nearly 3,000 yards and 25 touchdowns in the air this season and he also has been very solid rushing the ball and his best wideout has 45 catches and 802 yards on the year.

Oregon comes into the game averaging over 50 points per game, ranked third in the nation in scoring and eighth in scoring defense, allowing just under 20 points per game and now they will face another high scoring team in Arizona. Oregon is in first place in the conference division in the north with an advantage over Stanford, who is 6-2, meaning the Ducks must do their best to win out to keep the advantage to make it into the Pac-12 conference championship game. Oregon State is third right now and on the other side in the south division, Arizona State is currently in first place ahead of UCLA and they are tied with USC and both of those teams could play a factor some the end of the season for the conference title game.

The Ducks have two solid games to finish the season and the comes after wins over UCLA and a loss to Stanford in back to back weeks and the Stanford game marked the worst scoring output for the Ducks. The team is playing an Arizona team that is scoring over 30 points per game and they have lost the last two games, one against UCLA and against Washington State and that came after three straight wins.
