Monday Night Football Live Radio Stream: Watch Online 49ers Listen ESPN NFL Game Niners Candlestick Park MNF Streaming
The Monday Night Football matchup for Week 12 is an exciting NFC game, as the conference champion San Francisco 49ers visit the Washington Redskins at FedEx Field in a game that will be on ESPN and streaming live at 8:30 pm from the WatchESPN website.
Both teams come into the game in desperate need of a win and it's for very different reasons, as the Niners are trying to keep themselves in the playoff hunt in the NFC, while the Redskins are just looking to get out of the NFC east division cellar after starting off terrible in 2013. The Redskins have been inconsistent on both offense and defense this season and while the team ranks first in rushing offense, Griffin has not been as efficient as last season and has been missing on tons of throws that he previously made and that has many thinking that his knee is still not quite back to where it was before he had surgery. Both Griffin and Kaepernick have has sophomore slumps, with Griffin being a rookie last season and Kaepernick getting the chance to start for the first time and now the two will have a chance to meet on Monday night.

The 49ers are still in playoff contention but they really need to get back on track after losing two straight games to the Saints and Panthers, as the Arizona Cardinals have won four in a row and are currently ahead in the standings and that is now another team the Niners must jump as they chase the Seahawks in the division, as they are in first place with a 10-1 record. The Seahawks already demolished the Niners in Seattle back in Week 2 and now the team has a must win game when the Hawks visit San Francisco heading into the back stretch of the season. The team has come very big games coming up in the division and how they perform over this back stretch will likely dictate their position in the postseason.
The 49ers have a huge game against the Seahawks coming after they play against the St. Louis Rams and after travelling to play the Buccaneers in Tampa Bay, the team has a Monday night football game at home in the ESPN finale for the season against the Atlanta Falcons and then the team travels to play the Arizona Cardinals. That final game didn't look all that important earlier in the year, but with the way the team has played this season, that game could end up deciding which of those two teams ultimately make the playoffs. The Niners defense has been very stout once again and they are allowing just over 320 yards per game and are ranked in the top 10 in rushing yards allowed per game and that makes MNF a great matchup, as the Redskins are ranked first in the NFL in rushing yards per game.
The Niners have a solid rush offense of their own and while the passing offense is ranked last in the NFL, the game behind Frank Gore and Colin Kaepernick is fourth with over 140 yards per game and that likely means the winner of this game will dominate on the ground. The Niners started the season 1-2 before winning five in a row and now that they have lost two in a row again, the team will be looking to snap that streak. The Skins have a tough schedule to finish the season as well and they will play against the Giants and Chiefs after the Monday night game at home before hitting the road to play the Falcons in Atlanta. The final two games are in the division and includes the Dallas Cowboys at home before travelling to finish the season against the New York Giants.
