Fulham and Everton are playing in the English Premier League schedule on Sunday and the match is streaming online from the NBC Sports Live Extra website from Craven Cottage at 8:30 am ET and gives Everton the chance to move up in the EPL standings and stay ahead of Tottenham.
Everton comes in at fifth on the league table behind Arsenal while Fulham is in the last position on the table and needs to win some points just to stay safe and that will be tough. Chelsea remains in first place on the league table ahead of Liverpool and the Reds are in action on Sunday and they are ahead of Manchester City and Arsenal and Everton is ahead of Tottenham and Manchester United in the standings. Romelu Lukaku is leading Everton in scoring and they come in after a shutout against Newcastle and before that the team won against Cardiff City and heading into next week they have a matchup with Arsenal, the last team that beat them.
That match came at the Emirates and the next game will be at Goodison Park and that is the only home game apart from Arsenal for Everton in the next three and after playing Sunderland they matchup with Crystal Palace and then against Manchester United at home. The rest of the schedule has Southampton, Manchester City at Goodison Park and they finish the season on the road against Hull City. Fulham has had a rough season in the Premier League this season and they are just fighting to stay alive on the table and they play against Aston Villa next and they have a matchup with Tottenham at White Hart Lane later in the schedule before finishing with Stoke City and then Crystal Palace at home. The team comes in after a tough loss at the Etihad 5-0 last weekend and they won before that at home against Newcastle and that came after a loss against Cardiff City and a defeat at home against Chelsea.
Everton manager Roberto Martinez knows his team can't overlook Fulham when the table is in the state it is and they are looking to keep pace with things and they are close with Tottenham and they can move closer to sneaking into the top four with a win on Sunday. The team is just one point ahead of Tottenham and they have a match in hand and they also have two in hand on the Gunners and that could give them a chance to keep moving up if they win against Arsenal. The team can't make it all the way to Chelsea, but things could get interesting over the final weeks.
