New York Knicks News: Only Undefeated Team in the NBA Wears Blue and Orange

Nov 08, 2012 03:14 PM EST

The New York Knicks are the last undefeated team in the NBA after the San Antonio Spurs lost to the Los Angeles Clippers 106-84 Wednesday night.

Oh, you heard correctly. The New York Knicks are still undefeated. We're not talking about the Los Angeles Lakers or the Miami Heat or the Oklahoma City Thunder. It's the Knicks who have a bunch of old guys on their roster breaking away to a 3-0 start.

The scary part, they are playing with Kurt Thomas as their backup center as Marcus Camby is still recovering from knee issues.

Carmelo Anthony and Tyson Chandler have been leading the team to victory, while the additions of Jason Kidd and Raymond Felton have made a big difference for the squad.

So far Knicks, victims this season have been the Miami Heat and the Philadelphia 76ers twice.

All three games have finished in double-digit blowouts and the Knicks have finished the games with over 100 points scored.

They are holding opponents to an average 85 points per game while dropping almost 105 points against them. So far, the point differential in the final scores has been an average of 19.34.

They are second in the NBA in three-point percentage shooting (45.3%) and they are third in free throw percentage (82.7%).

The Knicks are only expected to get better as Iman Shumpert and Amar'e Stoudemire have yet to make their 2012 season debut. Although, some NBA analysts fear that Anthony's intensity will drop as they figure the All-Star has been taking most of the workload in Stoudemire's absence.

Whatever the case is, the Knicks are taking advantage of team chemistry and they look  capable of winning with whoever is available on their roster.
